Hiking in the Columbia River Gorge has always been an enjoyable part of life in the northwest. It's super nice to live only 30 minutes drive from some incredible waterfalls, huge river, and dozens of interesting hiking trails.
Michael and I both had the day off today and so decided to go for a short hike. We chose a trail that neither one of us had ever been on, or even knew anything about. It was trail 400, just past Multnomah Falls.
As spring is finally in
the air the trees were just starting to grow their beautiful bright green leaves. It will probably be much better in a couple weeks or so, but was already looking very beautiful. It doesn't hurt that the hills are totally covered in moss and f
erns as well. So green, so pretty!
